$0.00 Akaal Chant Sadhana

Please join us for an 11 minute meditation for 40 days to honor all those we lost this difficult year. We will chant Akaal (timeless, immortal) together at 11 am everyday for 11 minutes. We conclude our practice on Dec 31, 2021 to bid 2021 a gentle goodbye. This is a cathartic practice to honor departed souls, process community grief, and introduce a daily meditation into our busy schedules. This online meditation is free and open to all, no prior meditation or yoga experience needed.

Please note that on Saturdays the chant will be part of Manju's class, which is available both online and in-person.

Manju Sadarangani

Manju is a Yoga sceptic.  Born in the cradle of Yoga to a Yogini mother, Manju came to her practice fashionably late.  Although she attended intensive classes as a child and teenager at the oldest Yoga institute in India, Manju’s curiosity drew her to Kundalini Yoga in 2019.  In 2021, she completed her Level 1 teacher training with aspiring teachers from across the planet, the first global KRI program of its kind.    Manju believes in bringing a spirit of play, body positivity and radical self-love to her classes.  Describing herself as a perpetual novice, Manju centers curiosity and brings her creativity as a visual artist to Lighthouse.  She enjoys sharing joy, color, naad, and mantras in her practice.  She resists the problematic cultural appropriation surrounding Yoga by committing to authenticity in the studio.  She invites you to consider Yoga as a tool to recharge, resist, and rebel.
