$30.00 Ancestral Healing and Forgiveness
Join Nikki Haley for a super powerful and necessary Kundalini event.
Ancestral Healing and Forgiveness through the lens of Kundalini Yoga: We currently live in a society that is becoming awakened to the effects of trauma in the bloodline. Studies show every culture collectively has a relationship to trauma in their lineage. In addition, there are a plethora of modalities available to assist with releasing the pathology of trauma within the bloodline.
Within this 2 hour workshop, we will work with forgiveness and unpack any narratives or mental loops we no longer need to support our resilience. We will begin by tuning up the body with various Kriya's, meditations, and pranayama that support ancestral healing. Please bring (if possible) a picture of someone in your family that is deceased that perhaps you had a connection with or a personal (small) item that you feel connects you to your family. Lastly, please bring a pen and a journal. Open to all bodies including indigenous and people of color.
Nikki Haley
Nikki Haley (Anand Saraswati) is a certified KRI Kundalini Yoga
Instructor and currently teaches at Lighthouse Yoga Center, located in
Washington, DC. Nikki took her first yoga class 20 years ago and became
hooked. After falling in love with Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga, she figured
she would focus on those two forms of practice. However, five years ago,
Nikki discovered the practice of Kundalini Yoga while pregnant with her
son. In addition, as an MSW, Nikki has had the privilege of doing
direct community service and non-profit work for a variety of
populations for the past nine years working between the east coast and
the west coast. In her heart, she believes that the magic of social work
continues to deepen her practice. Nikki has a particular interest in
Ancestral Healing and its relationship to Intergenerational Trauma. When
teaching, Nikki hopes to facilitate a safe space for all that practice.
She believes that if we can collectively learn to surrender to any yoga
or meditation practice, then we have the opportunity to understand our
life’s purpose on a multi-dimensional level.
