$36.00 Meditation Informed Mediation
Join Colleen, lawyer and a yoga & meditation teacher, who has
drawn on her background of conflict resolution, stress management and
mindfulness to create Meditation Informed Mediation, a
dispute resolution practice aimed at centering dignity and honoring the
wisdom and compassion that can be harvested from conflict. We will
discuss how to integrate meditative techniques such as, labeling
thoughts and feelings, breathing practices, using silence and other
skills that will help you work through alchemizing conflict into growth,
harmony and positive change. This workshop will provide you with the
techniques needed to navigate interpersonal disagreements, identify
points of alignment and imbalance between you and another being. At the
end of the workshop attendees will be equipped with the tools to
mindfully engage in challenging conversations and disputes in a way that
deescalates tension and allows all involved to move forward with
contentment.
