$36.00 Exploring Consent and Boundaries: A Sky Dancing Tantra Workshop
Each day, we have the opportunity to make choices about how we relate to
others. How often do you choose actions that nurture you and bring joy?
What happens when you don't make choices that honor your highest good?
As we navigate the complexities of our relationships, it's easy to fall
into familiar patterns based on past experiences. But why do we
sometimes struggle to make choices that align with our highest good?
Often, limiting beliefs hold us back, preventing us from choosing what
we truly desire in relationships and from setting boundaries that
support our well-being.
So how can we better listen to our body and
spirit? How can we make conscious choices that serve both ourselves and
our relationships?
Tantra is a spiritual path of intimacy that
facilitates exploration and learning about ourselves and relationships.
Awareness and vitality are two key Tantra concepts that facilitate the
possibility of greater peace, discernment, relaxation, pleasure, and
energy.
This two-hour workshop contains movement and playful
experiential Tantra exercises that stimulate inquiry and discovery about
consent and boundaries. Space is provided for reflection and discussion
regarding how to integrate insights and Tantra exercises into daily
life.
Singles and couples are welcome. Pre-registration is required.
Doors will open 15 minutes before the workshop begins; please plan to arrive early to settle in. Street
parking is available. Light refreshments, water, and tea will be
available. Please bring your favorite snack to share if you wish.
About
SkyDancing Tantra
Sky Dancing Tantra is a modern day (Neo-Tantra) form
of Tantra developed by Margo Anand (psychologist, teacher, and author)
in the 1980s. This approach offers a range of diverse and experiential
practices (influenced by psychology frameworks and meditation) that
enhance self-awareness and vitality. These practices can dismantle
mental barriers and enhance breathing, body relaxation, intimacy, and
energy centers (Chakras). The term “Sky Dancing” originates from the 8th
century in Tibet. Buddha Padmasambhava, a tantric Buddhist master, and
Yeshe Tsogyal, his enlightened consort that was known as the “Great Sky
Dancer, pioneered Tantric Buddhism. “Sky Dancers'' in the Buddhist
tradition were people of great passion who were profoundly devoted to
spiritual awakening. Sky Dancing Tantra teachers hold the workshop space
for participant experimentation. They use exercises as tools to invite
participants to explore and observe themselves in the space, which can
lead to new discoveries and energetic shifts. For more information,
