$60.00 Holding Space for Helpers: An Afternoon of Yoga, Self-Care & Rest
Are you:
-Employed in a helping profession?
-A parent or elder caregiver?
-Pushing through everything that needs to get done, but feeling exhausted
on a deep level?
-Someone who looks like you have it ‘all together’ on
the outside but feel like you are falling apart inside?
-Pretending you
are ‘ok,’ but maybe not?
-Unaware of how you are really feeling because
you are keeping it together for your patients, clients or family?
Then
this workshop is for you. Join for me for an afternoon of yoga,
self-compassion. meditation and rest. Our time together will include a
gentle flow yoga practice, exploration of self-care and self-compassion
through teaching and personal reflection, meditation and will conclude
with a restorative yoga practice. No prior yoga or meditation experience
necessary.
The intention for this afternoon is to provide you with
space from your life and all of the responsibilities that go along with
it. Together we will explore body based and heart opening practices that
are designed to help move you from the state of constant effort, to a
place of greater ease. You will be guided to tune into your own internal
wisdom, to get in touch what it is that you need, to feel cared for,
nourished and balanced. Being in the role of helper can be rewarding and
satisfying AND it can also be exhausting and depleting. Join me and the
community that will gather for this intentional time of self-care and
allow me to hold the space for you.
