Are you:

-Employed in a helping profession?

-A parent or elder caregiver?

-Pushing through everything that needs to get done, but feeling exhausted on a deep level?

-Someone who looks like you have it ‘all together’ on the outside but feel like you are falling apart inside?

-Pretending you are ‘ok,’ but maybe not?

-Unaware of how you are really feeling because you are keeping it together for your patients, clients or family?

Then this workshop is for you. Join for me for an afternoon of yoga, self-compassion. meditation and rest. Our time together will include a gentle flow yoga practice, exploration of self-care and self-compassion through teaching and personal reflection, meditation and will conclude with a restorative yoga practice. No prior yoga or meditation experience necessary.

The intention for this afternoon is to provide you with space from your life and all of the responsibilities that go along with it. Together we will explore body based and heart opening practices that are designed to help move you from the state of constant effort, to a place of greater ease. You will be guided to tune into your own internal wisdom, to get in touch what it is that you need, to feel cared for, nourished and balanced. Being in the role of helper can be rewarding and satisfying AND it can also be exhausting and depleting. Join me and the community that will gather for this intentional time of self-care and allow me to hold the space for you.

Jennifer Salaverri

Jennifer Salaverri is a licensed clinical social worker, life coach, mindfulness educator and yoga teacher. She serves as a guide, helping people create the change they wish to see within themselves. Jennifer has experienced the transformative power of yoga, mindfulness and self-compassion practice in her own life and now teaches others to use these tools as a means of transformation and expansion. Her intention in teaching is to help people unwind the patterns of stress and overwhelm, to come home to their most authentic selves, discovering the joy, peace and love that resides within each of us. Jennifer has a passion for "helping the helper." After years of working in healthcare, she now works to support those in helping professions and beyond, in learning to prioritize and care for themselves, on and off the yoga mat.
