$36.00 Meditation Informed Mediation: Conflict Resolution Training
Meet Colleen, a lawyer and a yoga & meditation teacher who has drawn on her background of conflict resolution, stress management and mindfulness to
create Meditation Informed Mediation (MIM), a dispute resolution
practice aimed at centering dignity and honoring the wisdom and the
compassion that can be harvested from conflict. This workshop will
provide attendees with the techniques needed to navigate interpersonal
disagreements, identify points of alignment and imbalance and ultimately
lead both sides towards empathy, understanding and create a path
forward that all participants can walk with contentment.
This workshop
will describe in detail the MIM approach to conflict resolution. Here
you will learn, as a leader in your organization, how to guide your
colleagues through conflict and towards resolution and/or contentment
with practical techniques such as intention setting, scents, sounds and
tactile tools to ease tension, and movement to get through tough
emotions. This workshop includes an embodied process on how to implement
tools from yoga, mediation and mindfulness traditions to alchemize
conflict into growth, harmony and positive change. Attendees will be led
through a simulated dispute in order to practice the techniques in real
time. After this workshop you will be ready to mindfully resolve
conflicts within your organization.
