$36.00 Navigating Life Changes: A Workshop for Growth & Resilience Life
Life is full of change and especially these days it can feel hectic,
stressful and overwhelming. It can feel hard to know which direction to
head in or how to make positive, impactful change in your life. This
workshop is for you if you want to make a change of any kind in your
life from big changes like searching for a new job or navigating a new
career, to moving from chronic feelings of stress and overwhelm to more
feelings of calm, ease and joy; to finding and nurturing a new
relationship; to adopting a new habit or routine. The workshop will help
you clearly understand the change you want to make, quiet the mind so
you can tap into the heart center to connect with your authentic self
for guidance, and then develop next steps to foster personal and
professional growth. We will begin with a heart-centered meditation,
move into a meditative yoga flow, engage in journaling exercises to
envision and manifest your new reality, and close with a short
restorative practice to assimilate all that you processed during the
workshop.

Jen Skillicorn
Jen Skillicorn has been practicing yoga for over 25 years, beginning
shortly after college and incorporating it into her life ever since. She
deeply believes in the power of yoga and movement to relieve stress,
cultivate presence, and help us show up as our best selves. In Jen’s
classes, students are invited to step away from the busyness of daily
life and immerse themselves in a supportive, non-competitive space where
they can nourish their mind, body, and soul. She strives to create
classes that are both energizing and grounding, as well as playful and
renewing. She provides students with opportunities to take their yoga
off their mats and into their daily lives to contribute to a kinder,
more compassionate world. Jen lives in Takoma Park and completed her
200-hour yoga teacher training at Lighthouse Yoga Center in 2023.
