$45.00 Sweet Sounds of Rest: Yin + Restorative Yoga with Live Music
Our sense of hearing, also known as our auditory perception, has a
surprising impact on our nervous system and our ability to down regulate
and de-stress. You'll learn why and experience the impact of sound on
your ability to relax in this mini-retreat from the normal city
soundscape with Melody and Tara. First Melody will lead you through a
nurturing Yin Yoga practice for the joints, ligaments, and fascia of
your hips, low back, and spine accompanied by a series of soothing and
inspirational meditations. During the Restorative Yoga portion of the
class, Tara will help you prop your body for comfort and deep rest while
Melody plays sweet, calming music on the guitar. You'll leave feeling
profoundly relaxed and refreshed with a new appreciation for the
connection between sound and rest. No yoga experience necessary.

Tara Lemerise
Tara Lemerise teaches the time-honored philosophy and practice of yoga
in an accessible and joyful way. Registered with Yoga Alliance at
E-RYT-200/E-RYT-500, Tara has been teaching yoga philosophy, movement,
and meditation since 2005. She has over 9,000 hours of teaching
experience.
According to Tara, there is nothing to “fix” with yoga.
Instead, there are only more opportunities to understand and be more
fully present to our separate and together experiences. She is known for
offering clear and helpful instruction to students at all levels and
makes the wisdom of yoga feel relevant and relatable.
Tara’s classes
include action-based instructions in asana that are a result of study of
anatomy, kinesiology and creative movement. In addition, Tara provides
plenty of opportunities for stillness and contemplation in her classes,
which are deeply influenced by her study and practice of Restorative
Yoga.
Melody Klemin
Melody Klemin is a Visibility Coach, Video Storyteller and certified
Martha Beck Life Coach. She helps entrepreneurs and leaders become more
confidently visible so they can shine brightly as their authentic
selves. Melody believes that through the power of authentic visibility,
everyone can fully embody what they're meant to share with the world. To
