Taking it Easy: A Weekly Workshop Series for Survivors of Sexual Assault and Abuse

Pricing: $85 general / $50 members

This 4-week online series will  provide a gentle healing space for women who have experienced sexual assault and abuse. This workshop is a place for you to feel safe and supported as you move forward in your healing journey.

Led by survivor and teacher Halli Faulkner, this series will invite you to use the tools of movement, breath, and meditation to help you tap into your own healing power. We'll also share some practical strategies for finding ease in your everyday life.

Each week’s class will start with a gentle warmup before you're invited to move into some yoga movement and then rest, relaxation, and group meditation. We will also use writing, drawing, and some optional sharing to create a space for us to heal in community. Each class builds on the previous week – workshop themes include grounding, centering, prosperity, deservedness, and joy!

During Woman Warrior workshops, the most important thing is that you feel empowered to be in control of your body and your space. If you have any questions before signing up or feel nervous or anxious before joining the workshop, please feel free to email Hallihallijastaran@womanwarrioryoga.orgYou can also visit the Woman Warrior website to learn more about Woman Warrior workshops and read the stories of some Woman Warrior students: www.womanwarrioryoga.org

Everyone is welcome – we find strength in coming together as a diverse community of survivors.

For scholarships, feel free to email Halli (hallijastaran@womanwarrioryoga.org).

Halli Faulkner

Halli Jastaran Faulkner teaches healing yoga workshops for women who have experienced sexual assault and abuse.

As a survivor herself, Halli has spent the last seven years studying how to use the tools of movement, breath, and mantra to help herself heal. Her Woman Warrior workshops use these same tools to create a safe space where students tap into their own innate healing power.

Halli first learned about yoga in her high school gym class in upstate New York and has been practicing and learning ever since.

In 2014, Halli moved to Los Angeles and was first trained in Kundalini yoga by Krishna Kaur and then trained in trauma-informed yoga by Kyra Haglund. She then started creating Woman Warrior workshops for survivors while going deep into her own process of healing from sexual trauma and post-traumatic stress.

Halli is honored to have taught Woman Warrior workshops for sexual assault survivors in cities including Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, New York City, Washington, D.C., and Rochester, New York. And she’s grateful to spend her down time at home with her beautiful wife and their baby daughter.
