Knees are the most complicated joints in the body so what your knees
need to recover from injury and stay injury-free might surprise you.
This workshop offers you an experiential anatomy lesson on the knee
joint as you discover and understand the why behind a few key actions to
practice on your yoga mat to tend to your knees.
This is a perfect
workshop for anyone who is:

knee pain when practicing yoga
-Trying to prevent knee injury and pain
in the future.
Whether you're looking to move safely and confidently
into more challenging yoga postures or you are simply trying to heal an
old injury, this workshop will be just what your knees need! All levels
are welcome! No yoga experience is required.
Tara Lemerise
Tara Lemerise teaches the time-honored philosophy and practice of yoga
in an accessible and joyful way. Registered with Yoga Alliance at
E-RYT-200/E-RYT-500, Tara has been teaching yoga philosophy, movement,
and meditation since 2005. She has over 9,000 hours of teaching
experience.
According to Tara, there is nothing to “fix” with yoga.
Instead, there are only more opportunities to understand and be more
fully present to our separate and together experiences. She is known for
offering clear and helpful instruction to students at all levels and
makes the wisdom of yoga feel relevant and relatable.
Tara’s classes
include action-based instructions in asana that are a result of study of
anatomy, kinesiology and creative movement. In addition, Tara provides
plenty of opportunities for stillness and contemplation in her classes,
which are deeply influenced by her study and practice of Restorative
Yoga.
