If you feel tight and stiff physically or emotionally as we head into the shorter days and cold weather of winter, this workshop is for you. We will take a gentle, supported approach to thawing out your hips in a practice mostly done reclining, with exercises and yoga poses to gently stretch and sweetly strengthen all sides of your hips.

Explore your personal relationship with sound, mood, health, and
body. Sound healing is an ancient technique used around the world, from
the gongs and bowls of Tibet to the Salish Drum Circles of the Pacific
Northwest. Advances in aural science have allowed scientists to
study the impact certain frequencies and tones have on cellular
structure and biorhythmic processes. Increasingly, sound healing is
employed as a holistic tool to calm, repair, and heal. We begin
our monthly sessions by setting a personal intention (sankalp) and
dimming the lights. We are guided through meditation to center ourselves
before we drift into a sonic bath. Every month, we will employ
frequencies and tones to aid cell repair, reduce anxiety, and manage
stress.

In Hinduism, divinity manifests itself as The Goddess, who embodies the world. What does this have to do with the embodiment we experience as yoga practitioners? Devdutt Pattanaik's book "7 Secrets of Goddess" is a gem that offers accessible writing and dozens of annotated images of sacred art to help us understand the role of the Goddess in yoga and in our everyday life. Join us for this 5-week book club to read and discuss the role of The Goddess in and influence on modern yoga practices.

This workshop will provide attendees with the techniques needed to navigate interpersonal disagreements, identify points of alignment and imbalance and ultimately lead both sides towards empathy, understanding and create a path forward that all participants can walk with contentment.
This workshop will describe in detail the MIM approach to conflict resolution. Here you will learn, as a leader in your organization, how to guide your colleagues through conflict and towards resolution and/or contentment with practical techniques such as intention setting, scents, sounds and tactile tools to ease tension, and movement to get through tough emotions.

This two-hour min-retreat is the perfect opportunity for you to pause from the doing, settle in, and get the nourishing rest your body is craving. Instead of asking your body and mind to do more, this practice will soothe your nervous system, quiet your mind, and help you release deeply held tension.

You’ll discover how to balance your fiery, airy, or earthy tendencies and create a flow that supports you — whether you need grounding, focus, or renewal.
Nature & Nidra: Transitioning from Fall to Winter 2024 NEW
Dates: Sunday, December 14, 2025
In-Person
$30 general/$25 members
2- 3:30 pm, in-person
Just in time for the winter solstice! Join us as we give ourselves an opportunity to reflect on the autumn harvest and acclimate to the silence of winter. Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation to take us through the pancha maya kosha (five layers of self), leaving us with a sense of profound relaxation. We will get comfortable in the studio and use props to offer ourselves space to explore what we need at the moment. A deep nidra calms the nervous system, reduces stress and promotes better healing - a wonderful way to let go of what no longer serves us. We will allow ourselves stillness to process the tumult of this fall and lean into the winter stillness. Our intention is to align with natural rhythms and engage authentically with rest. This is a truly self-loving way to conclude your Sunday.
